- Crowd Scene: with armor, easier because there are lots of helmets, no faces.
- Central Actor: Usually on horseback. Sometimes draped.
- Ground: often littered with dead bodies and body parts.
- Weapons: sticking above the crowd implies more warriors than shown.
- Banneroles: tell the story like cartoon balloons.
