  • Crowd Scene: with armor, easier because there are lots of helmets, no faces.
  • Central Actor: Usually on horseback. Sometimes draped.
  • Ground: often littered with dead bodies and body parts.
  • Weapons: sticking above the crowd implies more warriors than shown.
  • Banneroles: tell the story like cartoon balloons.
